13-year-old stabs stepfather in back

A man was taken to Intermountain Medical Center after his stepson stabbed him in the back with a 4-inch knife.Salt Lake City police Sgt. Shawn Josephson said a 13-year-old boy and his brother were fighting over food near 800 West and 500 South about 9:25 a.m. when the boy’s stepfather tried to separate the two.The 13-year-old grabbed the knife and stabbed him, police said.
