Becker wants police HQ across from Library Square, not on it

The badges won't blend with the books...Salt Lake City Mayor Ralph Becker officially recommended Tuesday that the new public-safety building and emergency-opeartions center be built just east of Library Square -- not on it, as originally envisioned.
